A couple of weeks ago, on Thanksgiving Sunday, Sonia and I were gathered around the table in my dining room with a handful of friends, celebrating Thanksgiving. Knowing nothing of the tragedy that had taken place, I hopped excitedly from my chair to the stereo and we shared this song with our loved ones. The conversation had turned to gratitude, and the experience of writing this song with Luke and Ian, and our other new friend Jake was one of the things we were thankful for this year. Listening now, I find it eerily haunting and painfully prophetic. Luke, you were worth so so very much in such a short lifetime, and you are so palpably with all of those who loved you. Until we meet again, dear brother in song.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
