A couple of weeks ago, on Thanksgiving Sunday, Sonia and I were gathered around the table in my dining room with a handful of friends, celebrating Thanksgiving. Knowing nothing of the tragedy that had taken place, I hopped excitedly from my chair to the stereo and we shared this song with our loved ones. Today we had a super fun photoshoot and took another step toward having this album ready to release into the world. Just one step. One measly step. As I talk with people about the fact that we "recorded" in November, they ask when the album is coming out. They seem to be saying, "Cool, you're done! So it'll be out next week?" I recognize their unfamiliarity with the process; you do your tracking, and then you get to the mixing phase, and once that's all done, you send it off for m...

Sometimes I drive away from Sonia's house and I feel like I'm glowing inside... Glowing because I'm so grateful.

It's official. We have a name. We unveiled this name a week ago at Sofar Calgary's house concert.
